OOSEDOCHISHIMA was formed in 2006 by saxophone player Takashi Oosedo and Electone player Satoshi Chishima in his hometown of Hiroshima. The unit name combines their surnames.
OOSEDOCHISHIMA's sound, created by Chishima's wide-ranging view of the world of Electone and Oosedo's expressive saxophone playing has been transmitted not only to Japan but also to the world beyond the language barrier.
Their diverse music without lyrics remains in the mind like a story, and they have been asked to write many songs for TV, radio, and commercials.
At concerts, the duo performs in a variety of styles, from just the two of them to a band, freely changing the form to suit the stage. One of the charms of their live performances is the way they talk about their characters, and they also work as radio personalities.

First special guest of Instrumental musicians at the top-class festival "Flower Festival" in Japan. With the concept of "easy listening, friendly and enjoyable stage", his new style of Saxophone and Electone is attracting attention as a new generation instrumental artist.
Overseas activities include performances in Germany in 2012 and 2015 and full-fledged expansion into Asia from 2015.Since 2015, they have performed in Thailand every year, and in 2017 and 2018, they performed for two days as Japanese guests at the "Sriracha Japan Festival". He has also participated in EDF activities (The Education for Development Foundation activities) to bring music to Thai children who are disadvantaged in educational opportunities and support them in attending middle school.Since 2018, he has partnered with Yamaha China to hold the OOSEDOCHISHIMA Live Tour throughout China. He also performed in a live performance show at MUSIC CHINA 2018, a global musical instrument exhibition.
